PHEW

I can't believe the roller coaster we are on called life. Hopes' graduation has come and gone, so many proud tears, and tears of joy, and TONS of laughter! When I found out Grampy could not be here for graduation, I have to admit, I cried a few times, because I love to share wonderful times with him. We all got through it, and now we will get through his surgery.

For a girl who despises trauma and drama, she (Heidi) sure has put us through alot of both. Last year with her sickness, and this year with her Academy. Today was the day she passed her PT test, with shin splints (possibly stress fractures).

On my first blog post, I stated 'we aren't your typical empty nesters' . I find myself saying that statement every day.

Due to the fact that Hope moved back home from college, Heidi is probably downsizing from her house to a shared space in Maine, and Heather needs a spot for yard sale stuff, we got a storage unit. It has been visited and re-arranged multiple times!!! LOLOLOL

Today has been filled with great news, we are blessed that we have our health, and our happiness!!!

Dinner

Last night's dinner special: upside down chicken pot pies on the floor. I dropped the tray. Thank God for Ed's patience and the Chinese Delivery Guy.

Halo/Wind

Yesterday was warm and breezy. Too breezy. Too warm. Halo got too warm, and then the wind blew the curtain and the curtain knocked over a lamp in the family room. This truly sent Halo into a panic. I couldn't snap her out of her panic. So, Ed and I closed all the windows, curtains, put on the A/C, Ed made her a Babushka (sp?) then he laid on the floor with her until she fell asleep.

All is well.

Be patient with me!

OK people, I am new at this blog thing. I don't know why you have to start at the bottom, but thats the way it is for now ( until Heidi comes home)..so, please start at the bottom, work your way up. Enjoy!!!!

Last but not least: this could have been called 'mobile petting zoo' but we privately called it 'goat on a rope' LOL

Special Guest! I finally got to meet the famous Jessie Rae of Jessie Rae Photography, THE photographer who knows our baby Braydon so well!! Heidi, be proud of me, I got creative and took a picture of the picture taker!!

Introducing the Cake Fairy! Congratulations, Heather!

It was a cold, damp day, but it was really so much fun. This was great!
They had a big barrel, and started a bon fire! Everyone gathered around to warm their hands.

Lunch!

Heartwarming...

Sorry Heidi, couldn't resist...
I know you miss them!!

Heidi's friends forever!

STARS OF THE SHOW!

It warmed my heart to see kids had played in the creek.

Lots of people came to the Daffodil Festival!

They brought in buses of people!
